Phillip Daffara was engaged by Port Stephens Council as a Futurist,
Project Mentor and Co-facilitator for their Futures Project (2009)

Futures Tree to collect ideas;
Place Timeline to understand collective history;
Backcasting ideas and identifying barriers.
The futures methods were converted into graphic table worksheets by Guy Downes.
Key outcomes:
- Engage and provoke participants at the Future Forum to consider long term mega-trends and consider the implications for Port Stephens’ valued qualities of life
Key outputs:
- Keynote presentation;
- Project Mentoring in regard to appropriate futures tools and methods to be used at the Future Forum including:
Futures Tree to collect ideas;
Place Timeline to understand collective history;
