Gold Coast Bold Futures Community Visioning
Gold Coast City Council's key goals for the Bold Futures community visioning
project aims to set a policy framework (vision) that will integrate and
inform the (1) review of the Planning Scheme; (2) review of the Corporate Plan;
and (3) review and development of key corporate strategies; to deliver
sustainable outcomes.

After the visioning phase, FutureSense and Steve Gould Futures provided Gold Coast City Council with an Implementation Report on key lessons learned from other community visioning/action planning projects in Austrlalia.
The research outcomes of this report to the Bold Futures Project Team include:
FutureSense assisted Council by providing the following consultancy services:
- Peer review of visioning methods;
- Visioning co-facilitation of 20 x 2 hour Bold Future City Forums;
- Visioning co-facilitation of 5 x 1hour Council staff Bold Future consultation sessions;
- Transcription of public stakeholder feedback from the City and Strategy Forums suitable for Council and its data analysis consultants.
