Glo-cal Visions of Human Habitation for 2100 and their defining Cultural Paradigms
Phillip’s Doctoral research explored city visions and
their underlying cultural paradigms. By applying foresight methods and
socio-cultural change studies to the challenge of city planning and
design, he developed a holistic policy framework for city development
and a multi-dimensional city change model. Both policy tools give
communities greater capacities to create humane and sustainable urban
futures that they imagine.
