The published interview is included below. One of the most interesting questions was: "As a society are we coping with the rapid technological&nbsp;advancements? How is it best to keep up to date?" My response to these questions (which were not published due to space) is:<br /><span></span><br /><span>Perhaps&nbsp;not. There are emerging issues that I fear people will not cope with well &ndash; &nbsp;genetic engineering, artificial intelligence, and the changing nature of what it means being&nbsp;human. From history, I have learnt that people need to remain curious and&nbsp;hopeful about the future which drives their motivation to keep learning and&nbsp;adapting. So as soon as&nbsp;people stop being curious they get left behind, get conquered, or curl up and die. In society people are so different that we will&nbsp;never grow and adapt at the same rate or to the same levels.
